Founded in 1987 by Romualdo and Ronaldo, brothers born in Sacramento, Minas Gerais, Treat Couros had its origins in the footwear industry. From the very beginning, the brothers identified the need for higher-quality leather in the domestic market. Driven by this vision, they began their operations with the purpose of raising the standards of Brazilian leather, always innovating and refining their processes to meet the expectations of a demanding market.

In 2018, Treat Couros underwent a significant rebranding, reflecting a new phase in our journey. This strategic change was essential to reposition our brand in the market, aligning our identity with the values of innovation, quality, and commitment that have always guided us. The rebranding marked a new beginning, strengthening our presence and preparing us for future challenges, while we continue to deliver excellence in every detail of our products.
In 2018, we redefined our brand to reflect the evolution and new challenges we embraced. This rebranding was not just a visual change, but a reaffirmation of our commitment to innovation, quality, and market leadership.
By enhancing our water treatment system, we raised our capacity to care for the environment. Now, we return even higher-quality water to the ecosystem, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable practices and respect for nature at every stage of the production process.
With the opening of our first physical store in Franca, we took a significant step in our history. Beyond leather processing, we began offering directly to consumers the high-quality leathers we're known for. This milestone represents not only the expansion of our services, but also the realization of a dream: bringing our products directly into the hands of those who value the excellence and tradition of Treat Couros.
We took an important step in our sustainability journey by migrating 100% of our energy to clean sources using solar panels. This advance not only reinforces our commitment to the environment, but also earned us the international LWG certification, recognizing our efforts to operate responsibly and sustainably. We continue to lead with responsibility, ensuring that every stage of our production is aligned with the highest global standards of sustainability.
